Saundra Crum Akers has completed her novel set in Sinking Spring, Ohio; this novel ,Bite of the Serpent, is now available for purchase.She has also finished the first draft of Dream Buster set in Chillicothe, Ohio and will be sending that to a publisher soon. Dream Buster is her first novel to have a serial killer in it.
At this point she is doing re-writes of Dream Buster and is also preparing for and doing research on the next book, Shattered Hart. Shattered Hart will start in West Union, Ohio where the heorine lives but it will also have parts that will be happening in Morgantown, West Virginia. As well as being a mystery suspense novel, she expects this novel to be a historical novel as well since it is loosely based on a true story from the late 1700's and early 1800's. Ms. Akers is also considering the possibility that this character, Alicia Hart, may star in other novels in the future.
As you may see from the above discription, Ms Akers is exploring different avenues with each book she does. She still plans to eventually do a fantasy novel and is considering sequals to other novels already written, in particular, The Smelly Man, which is set in Bainbridge.

The author desires to do a work of Historical Fiction and a work of Fantasy at some future date. She will possibly do something in the non-fiction category as well.
