I'm trying to remember if I mentioned the reading at Thompson library at OSU. It will be from 3:00 to 4:00 on February 18th. I hope some of you can make it.

I'm in the planning stages of what to read but I'm thinking of doing some of my short stories, maybe a poem or two and reading from my book in progress which is called Shattered Hart...appropriate at Valentines Day...maybe not. Whatever I need to do to fill up an hour is what I'll do. Sometime before then I need to get some new cards made.

For Memoirs writers: In your business did you have business cards to hand out? What type of business or job did you do? What did your spouse do. Did you like it? What was the best and worst thing about it and how long did you stay with it?

This morning I bowled and then came home to a mile long list of things to do today. At least it's a warmer, sunnier ,day and that motivates me a little. I have several people whom I need to call on the phone and a dozen business things to do. I'm planning a marketing tour into Clinton and Highland county for later this week.

I've been seeing more movies than usual...usually none and the past month I saw two...Sherlock Holmes and Lovely Bones. I liked the first and not the last of these. My reason for focusing more on movies is that I might want to write screenplays in the future and need to see how it's done. I'm also slowly going through the roots series to see how that was constructed as someone I know is looking to do a similar series in the future and would like my assistance.

I have a lot of genealogy work to do and my daughter is also going over this with me. My current book will involve some such research on the part of my main character.

Happy February everyone.
