Some of us seem obsessed with self expression. As for me, I've always wanted to write since I was seven years old and had learned about the magic of books. Books take you to another place and time and it's a fabulous journey most of the time. When I told my mother that I intended to be a writer when I grew up she said,
" Then you'd better do short stories because you don't have the patience to do long ones!"
I've proven her wrong since I'm now almost finished with my tenth novel.
For my memoirs writers: Write about the books you enjoyed as a child or throughout your life and how those affected you.
I'm about to finish the tenth novel, Dream Buster and it's my goal to have the first draft done by January first. Of course it's also my goal to have my house spick and span by then too. We'll see which if either of these I achieve. I guess i"m making short term resolutions and have four days to accomplish them. There is another January first goal as well and that is that I finish reading the very interesting manuscript given to me by a friend to review. I read about half of it and then was interrupted by holiday happenings.
I started going through saved e-mails to review them again and see which ones need replied to and which can be deleted. I'm starting to fill in my schedule for the new year also. One other chore is to learn how to change content on my website and do that. I guess my new year is shaping up to be busy already.
